It's about my musing over things that I observed, went through, felt and more. I want to write and just write. Writing is what I want to do even though it's not easy.My gratitude to whomever owns the rights to the pictures in here, it's not intended to be misused or to profit from. What I write in here are entirely mine, of course I would make references to others (they righfully have their own preferences). What I write are my own opinion, not reflecting my employer's or whomever's. Cheers!

Rain and Proactivity
It is about how you feel and your attitude while stuck in the rain and the jam. And that is the reason why at the end of every 7 Habits workshop I wish people, "Enjoy the jam."
What do I do during the jam? I listen to radio or the cd, reflect the day and in a way plan what to have for dinner....
Cheers

Execution
The 'real' work to many are those work that fall on the laps as a matter of urgency, whirlwinds that require their immediate attention.
It is more fun and exciting to work on the 'now' rather than to plan and agonise of thenext10 months or so, to plan on what to execute and then to slow execute them. The results probably not be seen in the next few days or weeks or even months.
People are keener to work on the urgencies as there would be an immediate gratification rather than to have a delayed gratification.
You may wonder what happened to the goals that were set earlier, gotten swept under the carpet, coz they don't provide you with an immediate impact, be in the the form of acknowledgement, scolding or reward or punishment.
Why don't you take a moment to see around you, and ask yourself, would people still be busy without any goals to work on?

Belum Merdeka!
I cycle, I cycle as a form of exercise and I bought a bike a few years ago for a few hundred ringgit.
I cycle for about an hour, almost everyday whenever I am at home and when it does not rain to heavily. The bike had served me pretty well and loyally since.
With some diets too I now can put on a size 36 inch pants and do not have to catch my breath after climbing a few flights of stairs.
Recently a neighbor brought out his new bike, and showed us his bike that he claimed to be expensive and supposed to be in the top 5 range.
While I don’t really care if you have Lance Armstrong’s bike, I am a bit pissed when the word ‘expensive’ was uttered several times during the conversations.
This neighbor is not so into sports, he is the one who can get mixed up as which is Liverpool & which is Manchester United.
When asked why he is getting into the biking scene, his response was that his clients and friends are into it.
A matter of Trust
The question at hand would be of whether the union members can fulfill their promises of performing better as a reciprocal to the increase in perks or in meeting their demands.
The difference between the demands of the 2 parties; the government/employers and the workers are that:
- once the employers agree to the demand i.e. increase in perks & incentives these would immediately be recorded into the financial books. The affect onto the financial standing of the employers would be immediate.
- as a reciprocal for the increase, the employees typically promised, via their trade union representatives in the collective agreement negotiations, to improve & increase their productivitiy. PROMISE! Promises and more promises. How much of the promise get fulfilled. Every trade union member will enjoy the agreed perks, but not everyone will fulfill the promises made.
So?

2011
End of the year gift, Malaysia won the AFF, closing 2010 with a bang. They won against all odds, not much hope was put on them. My only worry is the consistency of the team. The of course the hangers on, people you
hardly see but then come out of the woodworks when glamour and accolades are handed out.
These are the same people who would distance themselves when the team gets condemned.
Then the excessive rewards for winning a regional tournament, not wrong to reward but when its excessive then it no longer function as an incentive. I do hope the players have their heads firmly planted.
All the best to all!
